How to Download Images for Personal Use
Step 1 - Ignore the "Buy" Buttons.
All of the images at this website are offered to the public for free when the intended project is for personal use such as personal blogs and student presentations. The free downloads are available at screen resolution (1600x1067 pixels) If you need a higher resolution please use the "Buy" button to access the shopping cart to license the Image for a small fee.
Step 2 - Right - Click on the Large Image
First find an image that you would like to download by browsing through the galleries or using the search box. When you find a photo that you would like to use in your project, right-click on the large image. From the drop down menu that appears, Choose "Save Image As" (Note that the exact wording may be different depending on what operating system you are using.) Once the image has been saved on your computer, you can then resize as needed and use on your website, PowerPoint project or personal blog. If working on a for-profit project, or your website or blog is monetized, please license the image before using.
If you would prefer to download a smaller version of the file for use on the internet, simply change the size of the image, prior to downloading. The images have been resized to three smaller sizes that you can download for free. First, click on the large image in the gallery. This will bring the image full screen. In the bottom right corner a small icon menu will appear. Click on the icon that looks like multiple files and choose the size you want from the pop up menu. Free downloads are limited to the first four sizes. For all other sizes, or for use in a for-profit project or website, please use the "Buy" button to license the image before use.
